GREEN PLASTICS is polymer recycling factory established in Latvia. We give a second life to used plastic materials by recycling them and producing high quality secondary polymer raw materials that are transformed to new plastic products.
GREEN PLASTICS recycles the following polymers:
- Transparent LDPE (low density polyethylene) film
- Coloured LDPE (low density polyethylene) film
- Agricultural film
In order to recycle polymers, certain raw material quality requirements must be complied with:
- Raw material must not contain any admixtures that are difficult to separate during sorting process (oily film, straw, grass and soil in large volumes, etc.)
- Raw material must not contain any metal admixtures
- Raw material should be without any strong specific smell
- Raw material must not contain any admixture of dangerous substances
- Raw material must not contain paint, glue and other similar admixtures that are hard to separate
Natural resources on the planet are rapidly decreasing, and one of the most efficient solutions for their preservation is recycling.
Plastic materials can be efficiently recycled even for several times, thus significantly saving natural resources that are consumed during production of new plastic products. GREEN PLASTICS mission is to take care of nature by giving a second life to polymers.
